Devlin, Mamie 81, died January 7, 2017, at her home in Stillwater, OK. Born Margaret Mary Bowe on March 6, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, Mame was the daughter of Philip Steven Bowe and Margaret Mary (Kramer) Bowe of Sterling, CO. A graduate of the Benedictine Sisters of Chicago's Mount St. Scholastica Academy in Canon City, CO, she earned a Bachelor's in music from Denver's Loretto Heights College. June 1, 1957, she married J. Paul Devlin of Wray, CO, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Sterling. A substitute teacher in the Stillwater Public Schools, she was named the Elks' 1981 Person of the Year for her years of volunteer work in the communityfrom teaching Vietnamese refugees English to helping with the Girl Scouts, her parish and Church Women United. Mamie is survived by her husband; two sisters; four children; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Teresa Daniels; and grandson, Max Hollman.
