Wimmer, James Robert Age 88, of LaGrange. Retired partner of Chicago law firm Lord, Bissell & Brook. Beloved husband of Gertrude (nee Anderson); loving father of Karen (Patrick) O'Hayer, Joanie (f/k/a John) Wimmer, Cynthia (Martin) Riewski, and Thomas Wimmer; devoted grandfather of Benjamin, Jeremy (Erin Schultz), Sarah Wimmer, Ellen (Brent) Lind, Alexandra (Jon) Tudor, Julian Wimmer, Eric and Matthew Riewski; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Saturday, October 29 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. Interment private.
