Kendall, Mary A. 91, of Streamwood, IL, formerly of Burlington, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at Lexington of Streamwood Nursing Home. Born April 3, 1925 in Chicago, she was the daughter of Nick and Justine (nee Cotugno) Deora. She spent her early life in Chicago where she attended school. On June 3, 1944 at St. Charles Church in Chicago, she was united in marriage to Edward Kendall. Following marriage, they made their home in Chicago before moving to Burlington in 1958. Ed preceded her in death on July 25, 1980. Mary worked for Ben Franklin, Kolm's Super Value and Schmaling's Piggly Wiggly. She was a crossword puzzle fanatic and an avid reader. She was a member of two canasta card clubs and the American Legion Auxiliary. Mary is survived by her children, Thomas Kendall, Kenneth (Debbie) Kendall, and Robert (Linda) Kendall; daughter-in-law, Sandy Kendall; grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Keith, Kelly, Kenneth, Kathryn, Matthew, Patrick, Megan, Cassandra and Kenna. She is further survived by many great-grandchildren; a brother, John Deora; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Edward Kendall; daughter-in-law, Debbie Kendall; sisters, infant Sue, Carmella, Rose and Sue; brothers, Tom (Joan) Deora, Vincent Deora and Nick Deora and sister-in-law, Flo Deora. We remember Noni... A wonderful presence on this earth. Her Italian neck bones were so amazing .... and were a profound memory in my childhood as I entered her home near Browns Lake. Such a warm inviting and Loving environment.
