Williams, Lois Evelyn (nee Jones) The life of a caring nurse and much loved lady has ended. After an extended illness, Lois passed away at her residence on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. Lois retired from the Chicago Department of Health as a Public Health Nurse Supervisor in 2010. Devoted wife of Roy Williams; loving mother to Rosalyn, Rochelle and the late Eric Antonio Williams; dearest grandmother to Erica Antonia Williams; cherished sister of Benjamin F. (Doris) Jones of Austin, TX, Nancy J. Johnson of Vicksburg, MS, Mary J. (Ronald) Lawrence of Rochester, NY and Willie E. (Gerald) Ladner of Naperville, IL. Visitation, Tuesday, October 27, 2015, 4:30 p.m. at Leak and Sons Funeral Home, 7838 So. Cottage Grove Ave, Chicago, IL 60619; Wake and Funeral, Wednesday, October 28, 2015; Wake, 10:00 a.m., Funeral, 11:00 a.m. at Beth Eden Baptist Church, 11121 So. Loomis St., Chicago, IL 60643, with Dr. Craig Jenkins officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.
