Viola, Carmelina "Lee" Mary (nee Iacono) 96, of Lombard, IL, and formerly of Chicago, at rest August 16, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Viola; devoted and loving mother of John J. (Martha) Viola and Robert M. Viola; cherished grandmother of two; great-grandmother of five; dear sister of Genevieve A. Iacono, the late Josephine (the late James) Volanti, the late Frank Iacono, the late Anne (the late William) Checovich, the late James Iacono; sweet aunt of many nieces and nephews and dear friend to many; preceded in death by her loving parents, Joseph and Angelina Iacono. Visitation Friday, from 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd. (3 blocks south of Roosevelt Rd.), Lombard. Family and friends will meet Saturday morning at Holy Name Cathedral, State & Superior St., Chicago, for a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
