I went to high school with Larry and ran on the cross country team with him and we played on the hockey team together also. He was a great guy. He always gave 100 per cent in whatever he did.He always treated everybody equally no matter if you were the best or worst on the team. We had some good times together. I had not talked to him in years but he will be missed by all who knew him.

I remarked on the day of his funeral that Larry was one of the great grouches of the world, by which I meant he did such a great job of pretending he was a grouch. In truth, Larry was a deeply loving and generous man; he gave his best and he expected the best from others and was hurt and saddened when they didn't give it. In that way, I see Larry as a true romantic and idealist, and the world needs more people like him. He was my friend, and I miss him every time I walk into TI. I will always miss him.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Gilman was a very kind and generous man. I remember the first time I met him he allowed me and two other friends of yours Bridget to stay at his house all evening getting ready to go out for the night while he and Bridget had another event to attend. He opened his home to us allowing us to eat his food, play on his computer, stay the night and gave us a huge pancake breakfast before leaving the next day. What a great and extremely giving Dad! I know that he will be greatly missed and again I am so sorry for your loss.
