Spizziri, Albert M. 91, Williams Bay, WI, died Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Aurora Medical Center, Kenosha. Albert was born March 18, 1924 in Chicago, IL, the son of Phillip and Matilda Granata Spizziri. Member of St. John's Catholic Church, Twin Lakes, WI, Knights of Columbus Post 6554, Twin Lakes, Chaplain of the VFW Post 8375, Silver Lake, and the American Legion Post Comed 0118, Chicago, IL. Served in the U.S. Army in WWII and lectured on WWII and Drugs at Salem School. Employed at Edison Electric Utility in Chicago, and volunteered at the Sharing Center in Salem. He was a ballroom dancer, played the harmonica and organ and was an avid fisherman. Surviving are his son, Richard (Joanne) Spizziri, Lake Geneva, WI, James (Phyllis) Holt, Necedah, WI; daughters, Wanda Holt, Lacanpo, FL, and Debbie (Brian) Staisor, Chicago, IL; 8 grandchildren, Lisa (Tony) Campbell, Richard (Amanda) Spizziri, Heidi Madeja, Eric Staisor, Haley Staisor, Michele Holt, Christa Holt, and Ashley Holt; 4 great-grandchildren, Hannah Ihssen, Benjamin Ihssen, Anthony Spizziri, and Audrey Spizziri. Preceded in death by his parents, 5 sisters, and 2 brothers. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Steinke Funeral Home, Lake Geneva, WI with Fr. Terry Langley from St. John's Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to time of services at the funeral home.
