Uzzardo, Vera Lorene 90, of Valparaiso, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015. She was born July 31, 1924 in Springfield, TN to Lloyd and Rosie (Cook) Keith. She married John M. Uzzardo who preceded her in death. Survivors include their children, Joyce (Steven) Bolin of Valparaiso, Jerry (Roseann) Uzzardo of Lyons, IL, John (Laura) Uzzardo of Homer Glen, IL, Judy (Mark) Peracki of Valparaiso; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, William Bonnie, Roscoe and Clifford Keith. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who relished time with her family. Vera will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. at Moeller Funeral Home, 104 Roosevelt Rd., Valparaiso. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 10:00 a.m. with burial following at Graceland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice of Porter County or a charity of the donor's choice. Lorene always accepted me in the family with open arms. A wonderful mother-in-law to me. I see a part of her in each of her four children. Love you Lorene, and will see you once again.
