DiNicola, Rose E. "Gramma White Hair" (Nee Spataro) Age 94, late of Homer Glen passed peacefully Tuesday, October 22, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Chicago, lifelong area resident. Rose was former resident of Marian Village in Homer Glen. Former member of St. Symphorosa Church, Chicago where she was a Super Club Member. Preceded in death by her husband, Louis DiNicola (1990); parents, Dominic and Fortunata (Fortino) Spataro; five brothers, Charlie, Joe, Mickey, Louchie and Billy; a sister, Maggie Cerrito. Survived by her three loving children, Louis (Midge) DiNicola, Rosanne (James) Sullivan and Susan Russo; nine cherished grandchildren; twenty-five adored great-grandchildren; a loving brother, Umberto and a loving sister, Lena. Numerous nieces, nephews and many friends also survive. A Communion Service will be held Friday, October 25, 2013 at 12:00 noon in the O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 1105 E. 9TH ST (159TH ST) LOCKPORT, 60441 with Fr. Jacob Kolawole officiating. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside. Visitation Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Communion Service.
