Carpio, Elvy "Elvira" Neyra Of Evanston, IL, passed away April 27, 2012. Loving mother of Victor Fernandez (Vicky); dedicated grandmother to Jessica and Andrew Fernandez; dear sister of Carmen Diaz, Eduardito Fernandez and Jose Luis Fernandez; beloved aunt of Carmen Brendel, Javier Diaz and Roberto Diaz. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Del Carmen Otero Neyra and her father, Finforiano Neyra. Elvy was a very giving person who volunteered her time at the Mather Pavilion and always thought of others first. Even in death, the charity continues as she donates her body to science.
