Garcia, Guadalupe "Lupe" Age 61, of Chicago, IL passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 17 2012. Born in 1950 in Ciénega De Flores, Nuevo León, México, she came to Chicago at the age of 3 and lived in several Chicago Southside neighborhoods. Always a smart and well-rounded student, she graduated from St. Procopius H.S. with interests in music, art and finance. She was a talented sketch artist who also enjoyed Elvis, The Beatles, The Monkeys and The Carpenters. Her skills helped and kind heart touched many customers and coworkers at Second Federal Savings and Loan for many years then at Talman Bank and Clearing Currency Exchange. Lupe was an avid Bears, Bulls and Cubs fan. She loved to bake fresh apple pies and often hosted Holiday family celebrations. She was a beloved wife of 35 years to Francisco, devoted and proud mother to Javier (Michelle) and Jose Angel and loving grandmother to Leeliana. Eldest of 5, she was the much loved daughter to Jose G. and Emma V. Garcia, and was a dear sister to Jose J. (Amparo), Ramon (Adrienne), Rose (Fred), Martin (Laura) and a very fond aunt to many nephews and nieces.
