Turner, James Russell, Jr. Was born on July 20, 1951, in Washington, D.C. He is survived by three sisters, Madeline Louise Turner, Nadine Turner Curry, and Roberta Marie Turner, who were born to the union of Merland Dorothea Turner and James Russell Turner, Sr. He is also survived by a paternal uncle, Charles R. Turner; nephew, George Edward Brown, Jr., son of Madeline Louise Turner, niece, Willow Naomi Curry, and a brother-in-law, DeLoycis (Lloyd) Curry. He is also survived by many loving family and friends, too numerous to name. He was preceded in death by his loving mother and father. After a long valiant battle with cancer, James made his transition on October 5, 2011. His Memorial Service will be held at Trinity United Church of Christ on October 17, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. The family hour will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11 00 A.M. He will be greatly missed by all.
