Obituary Condolences

Prondzinski, Helen C. 87, of Daugherty Township, PA, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2010, following a brief illness in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, when she went home to be with our Lord, her husband and sons. Born December 7, 1922 in Chicago, IL. She was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary Skutnik. She was a homemaker and devoted mother who was always very proud of her grandchildren and will be terribly missed. She was a member of St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Parish, Rochester, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Prondzinski, in 2002, two sons, Richard J. Prondzinski, in 2006, and Paul E. Prondzinski, in 2007, four brothers, Martin, John, Edward, and Stanley Skutnik, and one sister, Lillian Serwa. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy R., and Jack F. Fabanich, Daugherty Township, PA, four grandchildren, Christopher J. Fabanich, Daugherty Township, PA, Eric and Ryan Prondzinski, Crown Point, IN, and Sara K. Fabanich, Daugherty Township, PA, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Josephine Topezcwski, and Pat Osowski and her husband, Marion, all of Chicago, IL, two sisters-in-law, Florence and Audrey Skutnik, several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. There will be no visitation. A private memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Richard, Paul, and Helen will be held on Thursday, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, Rochester Township, PA. Interment will follow in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Daugherty Township, PA. The family wishes to give special thanks to the nurses at Allegheny General Neuro I.C.U. for their kindness and wonderful care of Helen. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes contributions be given to the Disabled Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301. Arrangements have been entrusted to the William Murphy Funeral Home, Inc., 349 Adams St., Rochester, PA.
