Obituary Condolences


Gordon, Leonard J. of Scottsdale, AZ formerly of Skokie, IL, beloved husband of the late Bernice (nee Crost), loving father of Michael (Deborah) Gordon, Susan (Craig) Siegel, and the late Gail Pinas, proud grandfather of Gabi and Mitchell Gordon, dear brother of Ed (Lee) Gordon and the late Marvin (Joan) Gordon, cherished uncle and friend of many. While working for Exata, he was responsible for coining the "Canon" camera name and bringing it to the American market. He served in WWll and received 3 Purple Hearts, The Bronze Star and was a member of H Company, 1st Infantry Regiment, 6 Infantry Division. Service Thursday, 1:00 p.m. at The Hennig Chapel in Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 N. Ravenswood, Chicago. Interment to follow. There will be a local shiva. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Jewish War Veterans Memorial, 1811 R. Street N.W. Washington DC 20009.
