Funchess, William A. Age 56, of Elmhurst; beloved husband and best friend of Janet for 26 years; devoted son of the late Sarah (the late John) Dilworth and the late Ellis R. Funchess, II; loving brother of Ellis III (Beverly) Funchess; dear brother-in-law of Sue (John) McCue, Nancy Nalian, and Michael (Deborah) Nalian; loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Bill was a freelance videographer for Comcast for 15 years. He was a sports fan and college basketball fanatic, following "March Madness" around the country and was a much loved soccer coach. He also enjoyed snorkeling and traveling especially to Maui. Visitation at the Pedersen Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York St., Elmhurst, on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time that services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Emblem Cemetery.
