Walz, Virginia M. (nee Nash) 87, of Orland Park, former longtime resident of Matteson, IL. Beloved wife of the late Edward Walz; loving mother of Margaret Walz, Maureen (Jack) Drumm, Edward (Dawn) Walz and Joseph Walz; cherished grandmother of Emily and Brandon Walz and Kevin Drumm; dear sister of Marcella Powers and the late Harry Nash; sister-in-law of JoAnne Barsella; and fond aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Virginia was a Korean War Veteran and served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy as a psychiatric nurse. She was a founding member St. Lawrence O'Toole Parish and an avid gardener. deepest condolences she was a very special and caring woman. I remember the last time I spoke to her she was concerned about my mother care who was in a nursing home. I also remember her from my childhood she was always very nice to me snd my brother and sisters god bless you and rest in peace!

So sorry for your loss. She will be very much missed! I'd wondered why my calls went unanswered. Virginia once told me..."God doesn't give people to us, he just loans them." I'll forever be thankful he loaned Virginia to us. I'm sure she's gracing the heavens with her presence, and I know they are enjoying her company as much as we did.

Mrs. Walz was there for me when I was a young man...she listened to my personal troubles and put her arm around me and said "Time heals all wounds"...from anyone esle it would've sounded hollow but she made me believe it.

I respected Mrs. Walz very much for the things she accomplished in her life. I remember her quick wit and humor. One thing comes to mind now. "Is Marge or Reen there? "No but we
have butter". ha. I will miss her.
