Has it really been so long? I hope you have caught up with Carla Noe and my mom. She always thought highly of you, as did many people. It was fun to share a birthday and a name with you!

You will be deeply missed, my friend. It was an honor to fight at your side in the SCA and a greater honor to have kept your friendship all these years. You'll never know how much of an influence you really were. Thank you for all you've given me.

My sincerest condolences to all of Vic's family and friends. He was truly a larger-than-life person in the SCA, one of the rocks upon which our Kingdom was built. I joined the SCA 3 years after Vic did, so he's been a presence in my SCA life for nearly forty years. He will be missed keenly.

I will miss most his willingness to give so much attention to the children that his friends and family brought near. He always gave them his full attention and treated them as substantial and important people in their own right. My children (now 15, 20, and 21) called him "Papa Dagan." Rest easy, my Duke. You will be remembered fondly.
