Hey Val,
Just got home from a long couple days. It was ALL beautiful as you obviously saw.
Last night so many Family and friends came out to say hi. I've never seen a visitation that raucous and bustling with people telling some amazing stories about you! Tears and laughter all around.
Today was tough though as we said our final goodbyes. But only to your physical being while continuing to celebrate your life and the impact it had on all you touched.
Things will certainly not be the same without you around, but the legacy you've left behind will never be forgotten.
As promised, I'll take care of your Em the very best I can and look forward to having you watch over us throughout our life's journey.
Love your favorite son in-law,
Andy

Words to describe my friend and co-worker Val: Very Italian,strong-minded,intelligent,hardworking and a dear friend. I met Val a few years ago as she came to Metro South Medical Center as a student from Sanford Brown College. I was assigned to teach her how to identify abnormalities in the heart but she taught me how to deal with matters of the heart. She helped me deal with personal problems I was struggling with by offering advice to me concerning my spiritual and emotional parenting issues and for that I am so grateful. Through her hard work she passed her Adult Echocardiography exam and was hired as a full time Registered Echocardiographer. Although we only worked together for a very short time she demonstrated pure dedication to every patient that she came into contact with. Metro South Medical Center has lost a great worker and I have TEMPORARILY lost a great friend. I say TEMPORARILY because we shall be reunited in heaven where there will be no pain, no suffering, and no more death. My deepest condolences to all her family and loved ones.

I am extremely saddened by the news of Valerie's passing! Valerie and I were close friends throughout grade school but like most friendships, we went to separate high schools and lost touch. Thanks to Facebook, Val and I reconnected a couple of years ago. We had talked about meeting to catch up but unfortunately, time ran out. Valerie, you were always a wonderful caring person! A November 7th never went by without me thinking of you even though we had lost touch. God bless you Valerie and your entire family!

Dearest Cousin. You have always inspired me to be better, to be more like you. Your kindness and understanding will forever be unmatched. You taught me the most valuable lesson; one is good, two is better. I'm thankful that I have so many wonderful memories of you to share. I'll tell those stories often, laugh like we did and remember you with love. I miss you and always will.
