Kelly, Theodore R. Died on June 14, 2016. He was 73 years old. Ted was born on Chicago's Southside on December 22, 1942 to Agnes and Ted Kelly, both of whom preceded him in death. He had one sister, Nancy (Jim) Freeman, who resides in Brainerd, MN. He had three nephews, Patrick (Tricia) Freeman, Jack (Kayelee) Freeman and Thomas Freeman. Ted is also survived by many cousins including Maryjo (Dave) Goeing, Kathy (Rich) Weideman, Richard (Roxanne), Edward and Joe Payton, and numerous Kelly cousins. Ted worked as an IBEW 134 electrician and for the City of Chicago for forty years prior to retirement. He loved the Bears and the Cubs and was a "Bleacher Bum" who lived and died with their exploits. He will be remembered by all for his love and devotion to his family, especially his nephews. Ted enjoyed a long retirement in Brainerd surrounded by his family and friends and was a fixture at his nephews' school and sporting events. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Brainerd with a visitation beginning the hour prior to the service. Luncheon immediately following services at St. Andrew's Church. Entombment Services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at St. Mary's Cemetery in his beloved Southside of Chicago.
