Barnes, Sylvia A. (nee Chiappetta) 84, born into life on March 29, 1930; entered into eternity on March 27, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Bobbie Lee; loving mother of Robert (Jeanne), Anthony (Carolyn) and the late Mark (Judy); caring grandmother of Brian (Lilia), the late Jennifer (Jeffrey) Reinheimer, Dawn (James) Baxter, Nicholas, Samantha (Matthew) Rodrick, Emily (Eddie Martinez) Barnes, Abigail, Kimberly (Brandon) Surpreant, John and Thomas; great-grandmother of Amanda (Tharin) Brooks, Ryan, Payton, Carley, Cody, Ethan, Zoey, Giovanni, Gianna, Jack and Robbie; dearest sister of Mary (the late Lester "Paul") Hill and Carmela (the late Kenneth) Kane; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Member of Hometown Christian Church and friend to all. Visitation Tuesday 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn. Interment private. What a lovely tribute to your Mom. She surely loved her kids, grandkids, greats, too! I recall nice times together. I'm grateful our families kept close.
