Pistro, Steve John Of Appleton, WI, age 62, passed away June 13, 2017. Steve was born October 29, 1954 to John and Josephine Pistro (nee Kowalczyk) of Chicago, IL who preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving brother, John J. Pistro; sister-in-law, Petra Pikelis; niece, Melinda Pikelis; nephew, Christopher Pikelis of Indiana; cousins, Alan Bednarek of Texas, Margaret Termos of Illinois, Marge Wesson and Chet Mrozek of California and many, many friends. Steve was a graduate of Thorton Community College, Chicago State University and University of Illinois where he received his Master's Degree in Chemistry. He was formerly employed by Nashua in Omaha, NE and retired from Intertape Polymer Group in Menasha, WI. His interests included model railroads, music and travel. Steve was well loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Chapel Service 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Opyt Funeral Home, 13350 S. Baltimore Ave., Chicago, IL 60633.
