Fleishman, Seymour 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Esther (nee Marcussen); loving father of Susan (Patrick) Shields and Jenny; cherished grandfather of Colin and Nathan Shields; fond uncle of many nieces, nephews and grand and great nieces and nephews. Dear brother of the late Iris Councelbaum and the late Harvey (Pearl) Councelbaum. Commercial artist and illustrator of over 80 children's books, and author/illustrator of four, Seymour was a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a WWII Army veteran.
