Lois, Ed, and Ira
I was so saddened to recently read about your mother's passing. I wish I had known at the time so I could have attended her funeral and shiva. I emailed Ira on your work website but maybe you didn't see it. Lois, please call or email me. Your mother came with her caregiver to my house for shiva when my father passed away about 8 years ago.
I will always remember her as a wonderful, kind person and my mother's closest friend. My family shared many happy occasions with yours through the years. May Hashem comfort you among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Dear Eddie, Ira and Lois,
I'm so sorry to learn that your mother passed away. There was a period when she and I were corresponding about the trip she and your Dad hoped to take to Israel, where I live. But then they had to cancel, and somehow, we didn't keep in touch. If ever you'd like to contact me, you can reach me at [email protected]. Your cousin, Barbara

Dear Blumen Family,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your mother and grandmother. I had the joy of knowing her over the years through Central Branch/Region of Women's League for Conservative Judaism. I loved seeing her at all our functions, and even your father! They were quite inseparable.
Ira, when I see you at shiva, I will tell you a great story about the first time I met your mom.
May her memory be a blessing.
