My Dearest Ronnie~
I can't believe it's been almost 1 year since we lost you, it's been a long, rough road for all of us. We miss you so much, even now, and hope you are now at peace.
I miss the great times we had together. I miss the little things you did that were only you, like innocently grabbing at us, and I mean the girls, playing like you didn't know what you were doing. There were many times that I just felt you could see us and what we were doing and you would just pretend you didn't and play along.
I think back on all of our time together and realize now how much you had done for me and the kids, not to mention the things you did for my sisters too. You were there for me when Joe was sick and when he passed on. You gave me the strength to speak out at his service to the family he left behind. I just wanted to be left alone, but you helped me face it and go on. When I shattered my wrist, you helped me do things I couldn't do by myself, helped me make it to all my therapy appointments, on time. I just still wish to this day that I could have helped you back in the same way.
I am glad you became a part of our family and there you will always stay, in our hearts. We all miss you so much, your voice, your holding onto one of us to guide you and just being around you. I will never, ever forget when we went to Great America and you pushed me in a wheelchair after my knee surgery. What a hilarious site~a blind man pushing a disabled woman into poles, dodging people left and right, sliding down ramps and slopes in the walkway. After that day, we always would rent the electric scooter and you would hold onto me. We had so much fun, remember the water ride? You got out of the boat ok, but I got stuck and fell flat on the floor, I was so embarrased but it is so funny now.
Ronnie, I know you are watching over all of us and I ask that you stay with us in our hearts forever. All I ask is that you be by my side this next week to help all of us get through the first anniversay of your trip to God.
We Miss you Ronnie!
We Love you!
I love you and will always miss you Ronnie!

Although we only met Ronnie a short time ago, he became "one of our family." He always had a smile on his face and loved being around everyone. We will surely miss seeing him on our next trip north. He will always be in our prayers.
