I'm sorry I missed the memorial service. I have been in and out of the hospital but will be ok. I'm so sorry to hear about Bob. He was a good guy and I am sure that he will be missed!
In our old neighborhood everybody wanted to loan Bob tools because they were returned in much better shape than we loaned them! Charlie always said that his cars had never run so well as when Bob fixed them!
I miss our old neighborhoods and the old times!
I'm sure that the time going forward will be hard, but you will get thru it. My husband died 12/18/2017 so I understand. The whole thing really stinks! But I'm sure that you have many, many good memories to look back on, and many more to make with your children and grandchildren.
A friend gave me the book how To Go On Living When Someone You Love Dies by Therese A. Rando and it has helped me. Take this for what it's worth.
Anyhow, I'm so sorry about Bob and I'm sorry I missed seeing all of you.

With My Deepest Sympathy,
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still Loved, Still Missed, and
Very Dear.
