Mary and family,
It was my privilege to serve with Bob on the Boys and Girls Clubs board. We are grateful for all he contributed over the years. There are many young people who have a better life because of his counsel and dedication. His passing is a loss to us all. Peace to you and solace in the fond memories of times together.

I got to know Bob when we initiated Holy Name's Thursday night dinners at Catholic Charities. He had a big heart and a desire to give all that he could (sometimes doing a bit more physically than was perhaps prudent!) We all benefited from his compassion and sense of humor. He will be missed.

Mary Sharp and Family, I deeply regret this news of Bob Sharp's passing, a pain you feel more acutely than the rest of us. I am among the many whom he knew and worked alongside at the ULCC on Public Affairs. I was especially honored to receive his wisdom and counsel as a consistent committee member and advocate for so many causes the public needed to know. His quiet manner belied an inner strength and focused mind that paid careful attention to detail and the long view. The words I think of when I think of him are integrity, fortitude and wisdom. I am going to miss him terribly and I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Thank you for sharing him with us at the Club because we are all the better for it. Brenda A. Russell
