Dr. Macnerland was my doctor when I had my first child 34 years ago. 3 years later I was pregnant with baby # 2 and moved away when I was 6 months pregnant. At my last visit with him, he marked my chart "no charge" for the whole 6 months. He told me that I could do something nice for a young person some day. My husband and I have never forgotten his generosity to us when we were young and short on money. We are now of the age when we can pay it forward and do! Thanks to a kind and wise man!

Dr. MacNerland delivered by 2nd. child at Mac Neal Hospital on June 11, 1964. He was a FANTASTIC doctor and person. I can't tell you how much my family and I cared for him. I was so disappointed when, after a few months, Dr. MacNerland told me he was going back to school. I will always remember him as the finest person and doctor. Our deepest sympathy to the entire family...how proud you must be of your father's life. My deepest sympathy...Jackie Speelman
