Beloved son of the late John and the late Catherine (nee Brown); dearest brother of Gertrude (late Joseph) Babicz and the late Dorothy (late Edward) Pawlicki; cherished uncle of Kathleen (Louis) Radford, Gregory Babicz and Susan (Robert) Bates; also great-uncle, cousin and friend of many. Blackie was a life-long White Sox and Blackhawks fan and a proud lifetime member of Park Ridge V.F.W. Post 3579. Visitation Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at COLONIAL-WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 6250 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago. Funeral services Monday, December 22, starting with prayers at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home, proceeding to St. Cornelius Church for 9:15 a.m. Mass.
