For Rick's Parents and wife:
Please accept my deepest sympathies at Rick's passing. It's been many years since we last spoke, but I will always remember those summers working for ATT/Bell Telephone and the years at CTHS.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. My mom and I have always had so much admiration for Richard; a wonderful attorney! He often made us laugh with funny things he would say while we were working (translating) for him. We will miss him. Carol O'Connor Cadiz

Dear Mrs. Barr,
I am so sorry for the loss of your husband. He has been an excellent lawyer and a very kind man through several very difficult workman's comp cases. He will be very missed. I was sorry that I could not be there for his visitation and mass. I am on a difficult job alone, and could not leave. Please know you are in my prayers.

Dear Cathy,
I don't know if you are the one I have talked with at LL&Barr, and never realized you were his wife. As you know, I am very broken about the passing of Richard, and I pray for you so often. He was the kindest lawyer I've ever talked with. God's ways are past our find out, and it doesn't seem fair that he was so young and had to go. But I lost my dearest brother to Melanoma at the age of 39, and I was beyond devastation. If you need to just cry or talk...I am a really good listener and I understand the pain. Thanks for always being willing to talk to me just as your husband did. I wanted to be there today so badly, but Gregg had a job he could not get out of and I don't drive in Chicago. Please know my heart is there and my prayers are with you! Rest in God and he will give you the strength you need as you need it.
