Dear Mrs. Vennetti and family,
I was just told this sad news. I didn't return to Soldier Field this season because I had my baby in late May. I asked my husband who works there to say hello to you from me, but he came home yesterday with the sad news. I'm so very sorry. I loved how every game last season you and Mr. Vennetti shared in my excitement and hoped for me to have a boy. He was always so proud of his children and grandchildren and I loved hearing his stories. I did have a boy, Oliver, and know Mr. Vennetti will be a guardian angel to him. I was so saddened to hear this news and will pray for peace and reflection of beautiful memories. It was such a pleasure to know him and serve you and your family at Bears games. What an amazing energy and generous spirit Mr. Vennetti had. I will always admire the person he was. With my deepest sympathy, Melrose

Dear Vennetti family,
I am very sorry for your loss. Mr. Vennetti was a great human being. During my childhood, he regularly took Dave and I to baseball games in the city and graciously invited me into his home is Palos Heights. Having lost my own father at the age of two, I’ve relied on various role models from childhood memories to become a good father for my own four children. Mr. Vennetti ‘s generosity and kindness have played an enormous role in my this. Coincidently, my youngest son’s birthday is July 13th, so on this day each year I will say a prayer of thanks for knowing Mr. Vennetti.

A famous British author once said: when we die, we take with all we did for ourselves, what we did for others lives on and on. That was Ralph, his memory will live on forever. This world is so much better because of him. A Friend

Dear Vennetti family,
We just heard about Mr. Vennetti and want to tell you how sorry we are. Generous was the best word to describe Ralph. When we moved onto Ute, he was the first neighbor over with donuts. Our kids (and their friends) had to go to the Vennettis at Halloween because they gave "full size" bars. And we watched him take care of our neighbors between us as it became hard on them to do their yard maintenance because of age. What a class act. We'll miss him and thank you all for sharing him.

I can't imagine the sense of loss you must be feeling right now. I know Ralph from Printflex. He was by far the most wonderful boss I have ever had. He truly cared about each and every one of his employees. He taught me so many life lessons about family and what is really important in life. He was by far the most caring, loving, giving person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I feel so blessed to of had such a great person in my life.

Mr. Vennetti was always so kind to me when I spent time with the family in the '80s. The Vennetti's family love for each other and their Dad was so evident to me. Mr. Vennetti made me feel like part of the family, and the house was always filled with much love and laughter. It was from Mr. Vennetti that I heard my first "off color" jokes, and I'm a better person for that.
