Martinez, Phylis M. (nee Janetzke) Age 77, of Midlothian, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Claude Martinez; loving mother of Sandra (Brian) Nichols, Sharon DeVos, Anthony (Sheila) Martinez, Claude (Margaret) Martinez, Jr. and Joseph (Carrie Piecuch) Martinez; cherished grandmother of 13 (including the late Tarah Angela DeVos); proud great-grandmother of 8; treasured niece of Lorraine Janskie; dearest sister-in-law; fond aunt and dear friend of many. Phylis was born in Chicago to Lucille and Francis Janetzke. She worked in her later years for RCA/GE and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Funeral Wednesday, November 26th, 11:15 a.m. from the McKenzie Funeral Home, 15618 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Forest to St. Christopher Church, Mass 12:00 Noon. Interment St. Benedict Cemetery.
