My condolences to 'Melanie's family and friends. I have such good memories of our high school days and like to think that Mel and I were BFFs during those days. When the tornado took our home in our senior year Mel opened her home and closet :) to me. Time and distance estanged us but everytime I thought of her it was with fondness and a wish that we could have remained close. Blessings and prayers to her family and friends.

My sympathies to the Mase family. Melanie was a true friend with a warm and funny nature. In High School things were always more fun with her around. She always seemed to see the bright side. Bless you Mel.

My deepest condolences to Melanie's family. I fondly remember meeting her at Central junior high. She was a kind and generous person who happily hauled a group of us girls around in her car. She was one of the few who had her own car in high school. We would go off campus at lunch to grab a burger and on weekends have fun cruising around the SW suburbs.
