Bellagamba, Maureen (nee O'Malley) Devoted wife to Herman for 63 years, born Chicago, IL, passed at the age of 82 on November 18, 2014. A loving mother of Martin (Sally), MaryLynn (Ronald), Margaret (William), JoAnn (Michael), Timothy (Wendy), Maureen (friend Donna); loving grandmother of Anthony (Patrick), Phillip, Andrew (Jamie), Michael (Marianne), Corinne (Craig), Nicole (Eric), Marissa (Ryan), Kathryn, Brigette, William, Nicholas, Brian, Daniel, James, Christine, Timothy (Yuliya), Peter, and Thomas; loving great-grandmother of Calvin, Ryan, Sophia, Lillian, Delia, Eleanor and Mae; dear daughter of the late Thaddeus and the late Delia; fond sister of Kathleen (Harvey), Thaddeus Frank, William (the late Suellen) and the late Joseph (Shelia); dear daughter-in-law to the late Anthony Bellagamba and the late Elvira Nicolini; dear sister-in-law of the late Eleanor (the late Steve). She was a wonderful aunt, cousin, and for many, a great friend that will always be lovingly remembered. The oldest of five children and the matriarch of the family in the America's, Maureen grew up in Chicago and attended St. Sebastian's H.S. She met Herman in 1949 and they married on May 26, 1951 at St. Sylvester's Catholic Church. Over the next 11 years they would live in South Carolina, move back to Chicago and end up in the suburb of Arlington Heights where they lived for 37 years. At the age of 33, having brought six children into the world and looking for another challenge, Maureen, encouraged and aided with the inception of Bell-Litho, Inc. She did the bookkeeping, was secretary-treasurer, as well as served as acting member of the board for the next 45 years. At age 68, ready to retire and enjoy life, they started a new life in Henderson, NV. Maureen enjoyed a good adventure, but more so, the occasion to meet new people and socialize. She was a strong supporter of The Carmelites. She was passionate and generous to those she believed in. Her past times were knitting (afghans), playing (and winning) at Poker Slot machines, doing crossword puzzles, reading her rag magazines and, of course, traveling or shopping. At 3-years of age, (you can hear my thoughts Maureen) you and Kathleen took my hand the day our family reunited in Logan Square and walked me to the Logan Square Library. There I found solace and sanctuary. Thank you so much! I love you! Thaddeus Francis O'Malley

My condolences to your family on the loss of Maureen. I was Herman and Maureen's Fedex person in Henderson. I always enjoyed delivering to them. Maureen would always ask me if I would like to come in to say hi to Herman. She was so proud of her kids and grandkids. She will be truly missed by numerous people. May God bless her and her family and friends.

A big hug to the whole family! Auntie Maureen always warmed my heart. Our girls will never forget their visit to NV for lunch. Throughout the preparation she would make comments to me that she didn't do things the same way as mother (her sister Kathleen). Of course I didn't care it was just great being there with Auntie Maureen and Uncle Herman. When it came time to clean up after lunch she wiped all the crumbs to the floor so that the girls could sweep them : ) Have fun playing with the Angels Auntie Maureen! Love, Mimi and family
