Some losses seem to augur endless night,
Years and years of darkness unrelieved.
Mourning knows no morning, nor does pain,
Peeling like a bell through windswept rain,
As those who grieve have cause to be aggrieved.
Take comfort, then, in hand-held candlelight,
However dim or distantly perceived,
Yet shining with what hope might hope regain.

Somewhere a journey begins at the end of the worldly existence we know....somewhere, a path stretches over the stars and rivers of memories flow. Somewhere a silence is heard far away and the brightness of day fills the night, where the trials of life are resolved into peace---when a soul finds its way to the light." PEG, you came into our lives...briefly...and in ways big and small changed our worlds and touched too many hearts, to ever be forgotten. Andrea,Barbara,Ian,Janie,Lori,Pam,

I only knew Peg for a short period. She brought knowlege, professionalism, and pesonality to our department (which are rare qualities in the work force)to the University of Chicago. As time past, Peg began to settle into her position at the university. It was after the July 4th holiday of theyear 2003 when she informed us of her illness. At that time, we came together as a caring team of co-workers for Peg. We continued to stay in touch with here. During Peg's time in the skilled facilty, I took time out to visit just to keep her company and be of some support to her cousin Katherine and friend Carolyn. I want to thank them for allowing me to be with them. Peg doesn't have to suffer with her illness any longer as her spirit is in Heaven May she forever rest in peace. I am already missing her.
Sincerely,
Barbara
