Pat, I am very sorry for your loss. I always seen Linda when I went into the Darien Jewel. The past two times I had not seen her and I wondered if she was off for some reason. Last week I seen her picture with a few words at the Customer Service desk and was very shocked and sad to hear what had happened. I know that you two were very close and I cannot imagine how you are feeling. John, myself and my mother have you in our prayers and our hearts go out to you. Linda was a special person and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

My thoughts and prayers will always be with you now and forever, Pat.
To Linda....
"Loveliness we've lost
These empty days without your smile
This torch we'll always carry
For our Pat's golden child
Even though we try
The truth brings us to tears
All our words cannot express
The joy you've brought us through the years
And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here
Along Palos' greenest hills and trails
Your candles burned out long before
Your legend ever will."

Patsy - (as my mom would call you)
There just aren't words to express my deepest sorrow for your loss. While it's been almost 5 years since that day Mom and I came to Arlington to watch your horse run and then you and Linda took us by the stables to meet your other babies, I remember it dearly.
May your memories of Linda keep your heart filled with love.
Love
