Booth, Kenneth Alan Age 52, passed away Thursday, May 10. For nearly 35 years, Kenny was a faithful, doting husband to Denise Diane (Radford) Booth and a loving father to sons, Todd Booth and Brian (Mandy) Booth. Born to Robert and Mary Booth, Kenny was raised in Hegewisch, the eldest of four siblings. He is survived by his two brothers, Bobby (Kathy) Booth and Tommy (Shawna) Booth; sister, Sue (Joe) O'Malley; nephews, Tom (T.J.), Robbie, Michael and Toby, and niece, Elaine. Known by many as "Kenny the Locksmith," he learned the locksmith business at the age of 14 and successfully ran AB&E Lock and Glass in Roseland for 32 years. He was a well-respected businessman who often helped neighbors in need. Kenny was a self-taught inventor who loved to tinker with and fix just about anything, from race cars to camcorders. He had a great sense of humor, cooked up a storm, and loved the Rolling Stones. He was a dear friend to Wayne and Rob Evans, Chris Serna, and many, many more. Services will take place Monday, May 14th, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Burns Kish Funeral Home, 5840 Hohman Ave., Hammond, Ind. Please no flowers; donations appreciated.
