To the wonderful Resnick family, our heartfelt sympathy as you honor the loving poise, enduring grace, and interminable dignity of a truly remarkable Mom.
When our black and white Zenith TV telecast news from "The most trusted man in America", Walter Cronkite, my parents told us that the most trusted people in our lives were Joyce and Jerry...and of course, our contemporaries, Phillip, Cheryl, and Shelley.
Throughout our years growing up, Joyce was a beacon of optimism, assurance, and family strength. She was there for my mom and dad, in the most challenging of times. Joyce provided a spirit of kindness and a sharing will of confidence.
Joyce, I look up and hug the heavens with " many thanks abound".
When Joyce confronted life's obstacles, particularly her lengthy health battle, she reigned with the fortitude and determination of a 6 Star General.
The "signature" and countenance of Joyce will remain etched in all our lives. The beauty of the Resnick family, molded by Joyce, is everlasting.
When the sun rises every morning, Phillip, Cheryl, Shelley, and your families can be sure that Mom has lit your day.
Although far away, although we haven't spoken in years, although this information was learned today, we love Mom, we love all of you.
My parents were right. The Resnicks are the finest people in our world.
Forever in our hearts. Forever remembering Mom,
Rory & Cindy...and our families
