Berenda, Joseph age 84, Army Veteran of WWII, beloved husband of Irene and the late Mary, devoted father of James Stanley, Dianne (James) Adomaitis, Juanita (Michael) Marx and the late Roger Plecki, loving grandfather of four and great-grandfather of three, dearest brother-in-law and best friend of Edward Bucz. Many years of service with Ball Bros., Chicago. Member of Archer Heights American Legion Post and life member of Chicago Ridge McDonald-Linn VFW Post 177. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m., at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 S. Southwest Hwy. (7700W), Palos Hills. Funeral Wednesday, 11 a.m., from the funeral home to Our Lady of the Ridge Church for 12 noon, Mass. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
