Pindara, JoAnn "JoJo" Age 82, of Chicago, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016. She survived by her husband of 63 years, Edward "Butch" M. Pindara; children, Michael (Cynthia) Pindara, Tina Marie Pindara and Todd Pindara; grandchildren, Carissa Spindler, Nicholas Pindara and Susan Pindara; great-grandchildren, Cameron Gilbert and Rhiannon Spindler; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and special lifelong friend, Donna Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Betty Markowicz and Bobbie Ann Mazurkiewicz. JoJo was a 1952 graduate of Bowen H.S. Chicago, IL. Her colorful career led her to Illinois Bell, as a switchboard operator, a South Chicago Hospital, office manager, a CPS, cafeteria worker and lastly, in the apparel department, at Sport Mart. JoJo was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid cat lover, who enjoyed retirement and the casinos. As per JoJo's wishes, services and interment were private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in JoJo's name to Hospice of the Calumet. www.kishfuneralhome.net

Condoleneces to all of The Pindara Family,Things will not be the same with out JoAnn sitting out front with Butch chatting with the neighbors. I am greatful to have wonderful memories like this along with the memory JoAnn sitting in her lawn chair with "Fancy Cat " laying on the infamous Saginaw wall...
