Thinking of long-time friends who have left us on Earth for Heavenly eternity ...

I was fortunate/blessed to have known Janice practically my entire life, as we were classmates for approximately a dozen years from the 2nd Grade at (the former) St. Stephen Slovenian-American Elementary School in the 'Heart of Chicago'/'Lower West Side' area of Chicago (, IL) all the way until graduation from Nazareth Academy Catholic HS located in LaGrange Park (,IL). We also knew each other's families from the neighborhood over the years as well. Janice was a very sweet & kind person, and I am quite certain that her passing has left what remains of her family & her circle of friends at a very deep loss. May her soul find in death the loving connections that at times seemed to elude her in life, and may she rest in eternal peace. Amen.

This search for Janice comes as a shock to me as I woke up thinking of her this morning and wanted to do a friend search... I was in gramner school with Janice at St. Stephens she sat next to me throughout the years... and I remember going on Field trips; both her and I would end up switching sandwiches as I loved her mom's cheese sandwiches and she loved my mom's ham sandwiches with Mayo & mustard :)

Wendy I am so very sorry for your loss. Words can not console you in this sorrowful time. Hopefully your wonderful memories will wrap their arms around you. I have so many memories of our summers spent in Antioch . Someday maybe we could have coffee and reminisce.
