Dear Family,

On behalf of the Illinois Chapter of the Eighth Air Force Historical Society, we wish to express our sincere sorrow in the loss of one of our members. Jim like thousands upon thousands of young men, who in the prime of their lives went to war in World War II, to preserve the freeedoms we enjoy today; let us be thankful for such men. Jim will be missed at our monthly meetings.
