Gorenflo, J. Robert "Bob" 83, April 16, 2014. Beloved husband of Regis, nee Mante; loving father of Sandra Martell, Thomas (Salvacion) Gorenflo, Marie (Craig Robinson) Gorenflo; Anne (Julius) Rogers, and the late Theresa Gorenflo; cherished grandfather of Alyssa, Angeline, Alison Gorenflo, Grant and Jack Rogers; brother of J. Richard (Rosario Cabral) Gorenflo. He was a proud graduate of Marquette University and a United States Naval Officer. Bob retired from Sears with 41 years of service in merchandising including the annual "Wish Book". He earned the honor of the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus and was a past Grand Knight. An avid golfer, accomplished sailor, and devoted Green Bay Packer fan, he enjoyed all things Wisconsin. Visitation at 9:00 a.m. to time of Mass 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014 at St. Mary Church, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove, IL 60089. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of the Grove Council #13448 c/o St Mary Parish, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Rd, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 or the Sedgebrook Scholars Fund (checks made payable to Lake County Community Foundation with notation of Sedgebrook Scholars Fund), 114 South Genesee Street, Suite 505, Waukegan, IL 60085.
