Rovano, Geraldine Marie (nee DeMarco) Age 83. Longtime Tinley Park and Orland Park resident, born and raised in Chicago's Roseland neighborhood. Graduate of St. Anthony Grammar School and St. Willibrord High School. Retired after over 35 years of service as Office Manager for the Appellate Court of Illinois, Daley Center, Chicago. Wife for 35 years of Sgt. Major James J. Rovano, U.S. Army Retired; mother of Darr Akers, Brian (Laurie), James, and Tony (Jenny) Rovano; grandmother of Patrick Akers, Megan (Michael) Thompson, Anthony, Jacob, Nicholas and Mark Rovano; great-grandmother of Skyler, James and Joseph; daughter of the late Theresa (nee Santangelo) and Angelo DeMarcoa aunt and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blocks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Sunday, October 16th from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Monday 9:00 a.m. to St. Stephen, Deacon & Martyr Church, 17500 84th Ave., Tinley Park.
