Trigg Sr., Frank A retired Commander in the Chicago Police Department, departed this life on Monday, September 9, 2013. Commander Trigg was born in Chicago, Illinois to loving parents, William and Lilllan Trigg. His father, Detective William J. Trigg, Sr., had a long and illustrious career with the Chicago Police Department and was the role model that drew Frank to law enforcement. After attending Wichita State University, Frank joined the Chicago Police Department in 1972. He immediately found this to be an exciting and rewarding career that became his life's passion. He progressed through the ranks of Detective, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and then, in 2002, to Commander of the 7th Police District. He retired from the Police Department in 2005. Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday, September 16 from 6-10 pm. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 17 from 10:00-10:30 am at Beth Eden Church, 11121 So. Loomis Ave., Chicago, Illinois. From 10:30-11:00 am there will be a St. Jude's League memorial service followed by funeral services at 11:00 am.
