I just found out about my wonderful Estelle who was like a second mother to me. She raised wonderful children and taught them to raise great children. I know she found Sparky, my Uncle Sparkles. A hole is left that will never be filled. We were all so lucky and blessed to have had her in our lives and she was Mrs. Michiana...

My condolences on the passing of Estelle. I will remember her walking the city every day. Her joy of life and love of her children who called her every day. I'm so happy that I was able to spend time with her the last time I was in Chicago.

I was very sorry to hear about Estelle. I spent lots of time in Michiana, walking and talking with her on Lakeshore Dr. She was always my "411" on anything happening in the village. I will miss her also, I share your sadness. She will always be part of my Michiana memories.

Estelle was a special person, she always made me feel special around her. Estelle was always known for having the most up to date information on events in the area. When we wanted to confirm a rumor we would talk with Estelle. Her favorite story relating to me personally. My father, Gilbert, lost his wedding ring on the beach at stop 41 around the corner from the Garmisa estate. Her son Greg and my cousin Mindy were on the hunt for the ring. Greg was successful, when asking what he wanted, he said to go to Ricky Lynn birthday party at the miniature golf course. Estelle we will always have great feelings whenever we think of you. Ricky
