Hunter, Ernest Age 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 25, 2012. Ernest retired from the CTA where he worked as a bus driver for 36 years (Local 241). He served with the 103rd Aviation Engineers in the U.S. Army during World War II, and completed his tour of duty in Alaska on the Aleutian Islands. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gloria (nee Ferguson); his loving daughters Deborah (Herman) Russell, Stephanie Hunter, and Willmette Carrier; cherished grandfather of Herman Russell, III and April L. Crummie; great-grandfather of Journi, Chloe, and Sierra. Visitation Friday, June 1, 4 PM to 9 PM. Wake Saturday, June 2, 11 AM to 11:30 AM. Funeral Saturday, June 2, 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
