It was an honor that my parents chose Aunt "B" as my Godmother. Throughout my young life, she was a wonderful Christian role model for me. As an adult, every time I visited her she was always upbeat and cheerful, never complaining. And let us not forget her delicious baking, always a treat to visit her home. She was my mother's best friend since they were two years old, growing up on the south side. Now, as our parents joked in their later years, the four will be playing double pinochle in Heaven. The world has lost a wonderful lady.
