Crawley, Elisabeth Williams "Mom", "Bee", "Auntie Bee" passed away peacefully at 99 years of age January 1, 2017. She lived in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood. She got her High School Diploma from Broomfield High School in Natchez, Mississippi. After earning her Bachelor's in Education from Southern University in Baton Rouge she moved to Chicago and earned a Master's in Psychology. She was a teacher in Chicago Public Schools and a Social Worker for the State of Illinois DCFS. She was married to the late Emmett Crawley, mother of Kristene Crawley, had 1 grand-daughter, 7 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grands. Aunt to Sharon (Leroy) Wheeler, Ridgley (Shirley) and Dennis (Donna) Johnson and others. Preceded in death by parents, Major and Agnes Williams; siblings, Eloise (Emmett) Johnson and Willie Williams, and nephews, William and Tyrone Johnson. Bee was a self-made, independent and intelligent woman with a sense of integrity and an assertive personality. Services are private.
