Andrich, Edward T. Of Longmont died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Longmont United Hospital. He was 76. He was born June 5, 1940 to Edward and Margaret (Kelly) Andrich of Chicago, Illinois. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1958 to 1962. On May 4, 1963, he married Bonita Kay Summers in Chicago. He moved to Los Angeles, California in 1976 and worked as a Operations Manager for Santa Fe Railroad before finally settling in Longmont in 1980. In Longmont, he served as a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service from 1984 to 2004. He retired in 2004 and became actively involved volunteering with the American Legion, Post 32 of Longmont. Ed enjoyed spending time with his family and many grandchildren. He was also passionate about riding his motorcycle. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and his sister Patricia Brice of Chicago in 2016. Ed is survived by his two sons, Thomas and his wife Cathy of Parker; Michael and his wife Lyne of Littleton; two daughters, Cathleen Lamothe and her husband Matthew of Longmont and Carol Woolman and her husband Ty of Longmont; 13 grandchildren, Jennifer, Chris, Keith, Joshua, Nichole, David, Megan, Jeffrey, Katelyn, Brandon, Jonathan, William and Tyler; 5 great-grandchildren and many dearly beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel on Thursday, February 9 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel on Friday, February 10 at 10:00 a.m., with David Bradshaw, former Pastor of LifeBridge Christian Church officiating. Interment will take place at Foothills Gardens of Memory followed by a reception at the American Legion, Post 32 of Longmont. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion, Post 32 of Longmont in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, 326 Terry Street, Longmont, Colorado 80501.
