Don was a fountain of energy with a true love for life and fun. Most of the outdoor fun I've had was because of him. Kim and I will miss him dearly. We love you Marie Bill and Donna. Please keep the faith. Love. Tony and Kim

We will keep you all in our prayers as you heal. Your Family came into our lives only a few years ago when Donnie called from Illinois and asked to rent our Cottage in Suamico . As good fortune would have it and Don and I started talking about the location, we realized that it was just down the street from Don's hunting land and a place he used to ride his bike past as a young boy. Truly meant to "cross paths". We are blessed to have you all in our lives now and hope to continue creating memories with you at the Cottage (with Don in our hearts). Our little slice of heaven. Sincerely, your Cottage Family hugs!!

May eternal light shine upon him. Well Don will certainly make it a fun time in Heaven for the family and friends whose wait for him is over. Don was like the energizer bunny, he had a never ending drive and energy for life. Aside from the time he was very ill, his passion for life never ended and he never wasted a minute not doing what he loved. We were happy to be a part of some of those good times. We will miss you. Our love and sympathies to the family. You all have so many great memories to cherish.

Don and I worked together at U. of I. We became good friends and had a lot of fun together. He was a great guy and he cared so much about his friends. He always talked about his family and how lucky he was in life. Marie,Billy and Donna, I am very sorry for your loss. Don is probably fishing right now in heaven! God Bless all of you.

We are very saddened by the news that Don has passed away and called to Heaven at such a young age. . We had prayed for him and put him on our church prayer line during his battle with cancer and knew he would be triumphant. We are so sorry for your loss! We will continue to pray for you/ his family, and that your happy memories help you through this time. God Bless You ! Tim and Karen Welch

May the light of your life forever shine in our hearts.
You will truly be missed. We've been friends for many years, & I will always treasure our friendship & the memories we all had @ Marquette Park.
So glad we had some time together last year.
Sadly to say we have lost too many of our friends from back then, no doubt they greeted you when you came home.
Marie & Family my deepest sympathy to you
My thoughts & prayers are with you during this difficult time. May your family & friends comfort you in the days ahead.
God Bless

I met Whitey when we were young teens, we would run into each other over the years and I was always greated with a big hug. He was always smiling, joking and gave me the "scoop" on Marie, his kids and friends. (the loves of his life) He spoke courageously of his battle with cancer and his gratitude for life. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. I am keeping Don, Marie and his family in my thoughts and prayers.
